Gifts for Christmas

Christmas is coming up, so why not kill 2 birds with 1 stone...
If you buy a handmade item from CoMISSION'D, you will not only be able to give a really cool gift to the hard to get for person on your list, but you'll also be giving towards the work of God...
Something to think about, but do know I'll need some time to get them finished so place your orders as soon as you think of them :)

To the Yarn Store

I'm almost finished with the 2nd Hello Kitty Hat.  After this I have a Grey Ear Warmer, Pokemon Ninetails Plush, Leg Sock, Hunter Orange Beanie, 3 foot long Green and Brown Beanie.  However, with the exception of the grey ear warmer, I need yarn for each of these... Yes even with all the yarn I have, I don't have enough/ right colors.  I'm almost excited, I'm hoping Hobby Lobby has the right colors, if not this is going to be interesting.

Put Aside and Start Anew

I finished the beanie part of the child hello kitty hat.  I wanted to confirm the size so I asked her mom to bring her over.  And as my suspicions confirmed, it was too small.  I'm putting the hat in my "to use for later" area, but I don't feel like starting the project again right now.  So instead I'm using the same loom and making a baby hat (hopefully this will fit).  I'm mixing 3 strands of straight pink (cause the yarn is thin) and some pink peach fuzz (type of thin yarn) to add softness.  It shouldn't take too long to finish and will be a great break from a messed up project.

Prices

This is the post from my other account (DessyS- http://thebeautifuldiamond.blogspot.com/), but this basically says what CoMISSION'D is all about and what the prices are.

CoMISSION'D's name came from some of us at MBSF trying to find a "business" name for what I do.  I knit/loom made-to-order merchandise and all the money goes to mission trips/missionaries.  So I am being commissioned by my clients while fulfilling the great commission on the mission field.  It's planned for MBSF to go to the Philippines in May for a mission trip.  (I'm pretty excited about it)
So, I've decided to start knitting for the public.  I can make:
Scarves ($2/foot)
Pot Holders ($2)
Beanies (hats) (baby/toddler- $7, adult- $12)
Character Beanies (baby/toddler- $12, adult- $15)

Dolls (small-$20, large- $30)
Doll clothes (small- $10/outfit, large $17/outfit)
Pokemon ($25)

A $3 shipping charge is added for in the United States, and $5 for everywhere else.
All of the profit goes to support mission trips and missionaries.
All products are made to order.
Please note me with details (I will ask if something is left out, otherwise I will take creative license) of order and any questions you have.

Please pray that God will open all the doors for our mission trip to go smoothly and that He will get our hearts ready for this miraculous occasion.

Here are some examples of what I have made for others thus far:
