The Bird of a Feather Flock Together (Peacocks and Ravens)

I finished the peacock colored combination scarf. :)

102 rows into the Raven Claw Scarf, I'm counting because the rows must be exact for it to look good.
30 stitches across,
30 blue rows, 4 grey, 4 blue,4 grey, repeat

I have yet to receive the specifications for the vest, however during the last few weeks I was given 3 scarf orders (2 are seen here, the other is a child's pink and purple scarf).  God has answered yes to my prayers of keeping my knitting hands busy.  His Grace and Mercy endures forever.
May God bless your day.

Filler Jobs

When I began this ministry, I prayed that God would keep me busy with comissions the entire time, that I would always have a request.  I finished Stephany's infinity scarf Thursday, and Saturday I was given another commission for a scarf (normal scarf this time).  So while I am waiting for the specifications for the vest, I have a commission.  God is good, and His mercy and love endures forever.

New Challenge

I am currently working on completing the infinity scarf.  The scarf runs about 8 feet (so it can circle the neck twice loosely), I'm at about 5 (woot almost there).  One of the ladies at my Dad's church asked me to knit her a vest.  I've never done something like this before, but I can't wait for the challenge.  I am currently waiting on her specifications (not just the item request, but color, size, etc.).  I'll update with comments as I try this, hopefully it will come out okay (I am getting paid for it).

God Bless XD

3/24/14 update:
Unfortunately the lady never gave me the details, so it was considered canceled.  Hopefully in the future someone will want me to make one, but apparently that was not the time for it.

3 days for 3 feet

One of my friends ordered a 3 foot long dual colored thickly striped beanie.  I worked on it for about 6 hours a day and finished in only 3 days. I was thrilled.

Update: The ninetails doll now has 4.5 tails finished (in addition to the body and front legs)
